Biography

A fourth-round draft pick by the Rockies in the 1997 Major League Baseball Draft, Chone played baseball during his childhood at East Point Little League in Mango, Florida. Figgins attended Brandon High School in Florida where he was third-team High School All-American as a senior. He was acquired by the Angels in a trade in 2001 for Kimera Bartee.

Figgins made his major league debut in 2002 for the World Series-winning Angels, used mostly, and effectively, as a pinch runner. His first full season in the majors was 2004. His breakout year came in 2005, when he was moved from nearly the bottom of the batting order to leadoff hitter, after original leadoff hitter David Eckstein signed with the St. Louis Cardinals, and used his speed to steal a major league high 62 bases, which was second most in Angels single season history. That year, he played two positions in the same game 24 times. He was named team co-MVP of the 2005 season for the Angels, with Bartolo Colón.

Prior to the 2006 season, the Angels signed Figgins to a three-year, $10.5-million deal. He had been eligible for salary arbitration, which could have been substantial considering his accomplishments the year before.

Figgins became the sixth Angel to hit for the cycle on September 16, 2006, in Arlington, Texas. Against the Oakland Athletics on September 29, 2006, Figgins hit his first career inside-the-park home run at Angel Stadium.

Along with third base, Figgins can also play shortstop, second base, and all three outfield positions. He is known as being one of the top utility players in the game of baseball. Although he was initially considered the most likely starter for center field in 2006, when the Angels decided to move Darin Erstad back to that position it opened up Figgins to be the starter at third base. With Erstad on the disabled list for much of the season, however, Figgins saw more time in center field.

On March 21, 2007, in a spring training game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Figgins suffered two broken fingers on his throwing hand while attempting to field a ground ball hit by Conor Jackson. He began the season on the disabled list and was expected to be out for at least five to six weeks.

In June 2007, Figgins recorded an Angels team record 53 hits in a month, breaking the record set by Darin Erstad in April 2000. With six hits on June 18, 2007, against the Houston Astros, including a walk-off triple, Figgins matched the American League record for most hits in a 9-inning game. On July 15, 2007, Figgins stole his 187th base as an Angel, breaking the 20-year-old club record previously held by Gary Pettis, in attendance that day as a coach for the visiting Texas Rangers.

In 2008 he averaged an RBI per every 20.6 at bats, by far the lowest average in the major leagues.

In 2009, Figgins was selected to his first All-Star Game. American League manager Joe Maddon, a former bench coach with the Angels, selected Figgins to fill the roster spot vacated by injured Tampa Bay Rays third-baseman Evan Longoria.^[4]

Allen Jones^[1] (born June 2, 1978),^[1] better known by his ring name A.J. Styles (also written as AJ Styles), is an American professional wrestler currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling,^[3] (TNA) where he is the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion. He, James Storm, and Jeff Jarrett are the only wrestlers to perform on the inaugural NWA-TNA pay-per-view event on June 19, 2002, and still be employed by the company in a wrestling role today. Since he joined TNA, Styles has been the first TNA X Division Champion while also having the most reigns with six, a five-time World Tag Team Champion (4 NWA and 1 TNA) and a four-time World Heavyweight Champion (3 NWA and 1 TNA). With having won the TNA X Division, NWA World Tag Team, and NWA World Heavyweight Championships, Styles was the first to complete the TNA Triple Crown Championship. Styles would later complete the Triple Crown three more times, making him the only man to complete it more than once and for most of TNA's existence the only one to complete it at all. His victory over Booker T for the TNA Legends Championship made him the first, and only, man to have ever won the TNA Grand Slam Championship. This is a very interesting Minstrel build, however this build is highly discouraged if you intend to do WoE/PvP often. Although discouraged it can be put to good use with, high DEX to achieve fast casting time, additional bonuses for songs and high damage output, high AGI for flee and ASPD (concentration potions are a must), and a fairly stable amount of VIT and INT. The reason for placing points into INT is because of the skill usage. Expect to constantly be using skills to attack opponents. Consider using Arrow Vulcan as the last resort or finishing move. Melody strike should be used at first to weaken opponents.

With this amount of int Tarot card/Unbarring Octave can be used without burning away SP too quickly.

The WoE build is generally for those Minstrels who want to be the best for WoE and PVP support. Because of the roles they provide, their main stats are VIT and DEX. Most of these type of Minstrels get 95+ base VIT. With 95 VIT you have 100 total VIT (100% stun/silence resistance), with your job bonus of +2 VIT and +3 VIT from a Triple Vital Solid Violin (the cheapest and most effective WoE weapon). 100 VIT has many benefits for a character in WoE. High HP for a Minstrel means songs will be canceled less. Also, pot efficiency is greatly increased. The most important part, though, is how with complete stun resistance and more than 10k HP, the ever important Classical Pluck and Magic Strings skills will not often be canceled. As for gear, with 99 base DEX, you can achieve 150 dex by wearing binoculars and any pair of tights, usually unfrozen for WoE and PVP purposes. 150 DEX allows you to have a very good Magic Strings song, and also instant cast Arrow Vulcan and Tarot Card of Fate. In leveling, this build primarily takes advantage of Arrow Vulcan, though with low INT this may be difficult without a buff slave or priest partner. DS dancing is a more SP friendly option, but may become tedious and difficult due to the low amount of agility.

The leveling support build is not much different than the WoE build for Minstrels. The only change in the build is the stat allocation. These types of Minstrels usually choose to lower their VIT by 20-40 points, in order to add many points into INT. INT helps tremendously in solo leveling, but also greatly increases the quality of the Magic Strings song. These Minstrels often have a very large SP pool, so leveling with Arrow Vulcan becomes quite easy. Of course, with 60-80 VIT a character is still extremely useful in a WoE scenario. Though it may not have 100% status resistance, or as much pot efficiency/maximum HP as a character with 100 VIT, it is still a very strong addition to a good WoE team.

There is also an offshoot of this build that reduces Vit even further and increases Int to 100+ for great SP staying power and maximum skill spamming with Magical Strings. Physically it's lacking in defense and stun resistance, but in terms of party leveling with classes that love to spam skills quickly (SinX, High Wizard, etc.) this build's Magical Strings cannot be beat.

Red Hot Chili Peppers (often abbreviated RHCP) is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1983. For most of the band's existence, the members have been vocalist Anthony Kiedis, guitarist John Frusciante, bassist Michael "Flea" Balzary, and drummer Chad Smith. The band's varied musical style has fused traditional funk with elements of other genres including alternative, punk rock, and psychedelic rock.

In addition to Kiedis and Flea, the group originally featured guitarist Hillel Slovak and drummer Jack Irons. Slovak, however, died of a heroin overdose in 1988, resulting in Irons' departure.^[1] Irons was replaced briefly by former Dead Kennedys drummer D. H. Peligro before the band found a permanent replacement in Smith, while Slovak was replaced by up-and-coming guitarist Frusciante. This lineup recorded the band's fourth and fifth albums, Mother's Milk (1989) and Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991).

Blood Sugar Sex Magik was a significant record for the band; having sold over thirteen million copies, it provided the group's initial mainstream commercial success. Frusciante grew uncomfortable with this new found success and left abruptly in the middle of the tour for the album in 1992, descending into heroin addiction. Kiedis, Flea, and Smith employed Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction for their subsequent album, One Hot Minute (1995). Although fairly successful, it did not match the critical acclaim of Blood Sugar Sex Magik and sold less than half the copies of its predecessor. Shortly afterwards, Navarro departed the band due to creative differences. Frusciante, fresh out of drug rehabilitation, rejoined the band in 1998, at Flea's request. The reunited quartet returned to the studio to record Californication (1999), which went on to sell fifteen million units worldwide, becoming their most successful album to date. It was followed three years later with By the Way (2002), which continued their success. In 2006, the group released the double album Stadium Arcadium, giving them their first American number one album.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have won seven Grammy Awards. The band has sold over fifty-three million albums worldwide, have eight singles in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 (including three singles in the Top 10), have five number one singles on the Mainstream Rock charts, and hold a record of eleven number one singles on the Modern Rock charts. On September 23, 2009 the band was nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2010^[2]. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers were ranked #30 on VH1's "Greatest Artists of Hard Rock".
